And then we feel it. The pressure to speak. The pressure to do. Because silence is violence. All evil needs to triumph is for good people to do nothing. To say nothing. To be still. We either fight or evil wins, and evil can’t win. Defeat is not an option.
As we drown in these turbulent seas of manufactured (and real) anxiety, fear, overwhelm and rage, we feel the pressure to join the cacophony. What we put back into the world is more anxiety, more fear, more overwhelm, and more rage. The noise gets louder, the mob engulfs us. We continue to drown.
